Matapalo is located on the Osa Peninsula, a remote region of Costa Rica, far from the tourist filled beach towns. Matapalo is a small community and has no stores, so be sure to stock up in town. After driving from the regional airport in Puerto Jimenez, you will arrive in the middle of a jungle paradise, where seeing Toucans, Blue Morpho Butterflies, Scarlet Macaws and 4 different species of Monkeys is a daily occurance.

Casa Vida Verde is surrounded by rainforest, yet sits only steps away from one of the most breathtaking beaches in all of Central America and just a short ride from the Corcovado National Park. There are two spectacular waterfalls which can be reached by hiking along a secluded trail.
